It began in the Tuileries Garden, in Paris, 2023.

I am fascinated by the thought of inanimate objects having human emotion. Statues, and other objects in human form, hiding in plain sight, silently witnessing and interacting with us in our daily lives is pure magic, whimsy, nostalgia, escapism. After photographing the Tuileries every week for a year, I have since included other mythical beings in faraway lands.
