Hi, my name is Brennan, and my friends call me B.
I'm an American travel and documentary photographer currently based in Paris, France pursuing a Creative Documentary and Photojournalism Master's Program with Magnum Photos. After a career in humanitarian work I chose to pursue creative storytelling through photography as a means to recognize human resilience in adversity. I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories and photographing that moment of connection.
My favorite experiences are often found on the road, from Route 66 and the Pacific Coast Highway to Paris and the beaches of Normandy. I am available to travel for projects.
Recent personal projects have included Behind Closed Doors which explores generational drug addiction in the U.S., Spirit of the Mother Road, Life on Route 66, and Cataphiles and the Urbex Movement in Paris. I will return to my home base of Asheville, NC later this fall.
Feel free to contact me via my website or Instagram.
